In 1999 Mr. Hagen relocated his office from downtown Denver to a boutique office close to the Town Center in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (population 90,000), a southern suburb of metropolitan Denver. He is a sole practitioner operating as a professional corporation (P.C.) licensed in Michigan (1973), Colorado (1981) and Arizona (2011). The office is staffed with legal assistant/paralegal, Peggy Schroeder. The practice expanded to include Peoria, Arizona (population 155,000), a northern suburb city of Phoenix in 2011. Mr. Hagen is licensed and authorized to do business in both states.
The practice emphasis is on business issues, contracts, construction law, defects, real estate (Commercial and Residential), Estate Planning and Probate. His litigation (civil only) preference is that of plaintiff and defense in state courts. Mr. Hagen's civil litigation experience includes the Federal District Court, Bankruptcy Court, state and federal regulatory agencies, and the Colorado court system (District and County Court) having appeared in 19 Colorado counties. Arizona litigation will generally be limited to Maricopa County.
Mr. Hagen is active in the business community as Chairman of Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce, past Board Chairman for the Highlands Ranch Chamber, and a member of Castle Rock and Peoria Chambers. He serves on the Economic Development Council for Castle Pines. He is a member of the Bar Associations for Colorado, Douglas-Elbert County, Arizona and Maricopa County.

The Colorado office is located in a single floor professional building, with ample free parking, near Town Center for Highlands Ranch, a center of corporate business for northern Douglas County. It is less than one mile from access to C-470, exit Lucent Boulevard or exit Broadway. The "470 Corridor" is the rapid growth area for national corporations along the southern rim of the Denver metropolitan area. The office is 16 miles due South of central Denver, 10 miles West of Inverness/DTC, and approximately 40 minutes from Denver International Airport. It is centrally located to the courts and government centers of Arapahoe, Douglas and Jefferson Counties.
Mr. Hagen's practice in Peoria is about 40 miles northwest of Sky Harbor and downtown Phoenix, near the 303, Lake Pleasant Parkway, and the 101.
